Learn about Ellis County’s early origins, journey through the Ellis county as it went from an agrarian settlement to the community it is today, Journey through the Shawnee Trail, agriculture and railroads, our stunning Victorian architecture, film legacy, local sports heroes, scientific achievements, and the extraordinary women who left their mark on Ellis County
